Purple Heart with a 60 degree vcarve bit!

What rpm,feed rate, and plunge rate do you put it at for a 60 degree vcarve bit when you engraving with it into Purple Heart!!

Depending on your mill 8-12K at 1.75-4ips. Plunge at .50 is fine. Make sure your bit is sharp. That's hard wood.

I find a clean-up pass is a good idea too. Just run toolpath twice. purple heart is a fiberouse wood and has a tendency to split... or not cut as cleanly as other hard woods
