Venturi Vacuum Pumps

My knowledge on pneumatic venturi vacuum is rather limited. I was looking at the idea of one that I could use for specialty vacuum jigs and also used for an occasional vacuum lift. Each application would have individual setups and the venturi pump would be moved from one to the other.
Does anyone have recommendations on brands or models?

Once you get this you will quickly find that it is super easy to build you own special shapes. You just need a simple 3 way valve to operate it but for tests just hook it up to a small air compressor.

Which type of pump do you use and where do you purchase?

That is a nifty kit. How durable is it? The fittings to the pucks look to be friction fit. I can always make my own pucks and fittings, just want to make sure the pump will be good and strong.

Very durable Marion. Yes the hoses are friction fitted - well spotted! As long as you dont cut into them they will last for yonks. Lots of other pumps on Ebay from $15. If you want more omph you can get multi stage.

Just for kicks I have a harbor freight brake bleeder that uses venturi setup. With one 6 inch puck I built myself it has no trouble picking up a 48x48 sheet of 1/2 inch sintra.
