HERE IS ONE OF THE WAYS THAT I GIVE BACK TO SHOW MY THANKS FOR BUYING OUR PRODUCT. HERE IS MY FAVORITE THING TO DO IN MY STATE.. THINK ABOUT DOING THIS.. IT BRINGS IN FAR MORE WORK THAN IT COST.
Heroes Outpost had a Memorial plaque made to honor the life and ultimate sacrifice of Nicholas Dieruf. We will be presenting it jointly with American Legion Post 67, to Corporal Dieruf's mother this Sunday at the dedication ceremony/reception. Come on out and help us honor this Hero! Reception after at Post 67.
When: Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2 p.m.
Where: Downtown Versailles
What: Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial
Why: Marine Corporal Nicholas Dieruf was killed in action in April 2004. I believe he was the only Woodford Countian who has died in the War on Terroism. Just recently his name was added to the Woodford County War Memorial (downtown Versailles). This Memorial has not had an addition since it was first dedicated after Vietnam.
This Sunday, May 19th there will be a dedication and wreath laying at 2:00. The Rolling Thunder Chapter 4 KY will be there to lay the wreath.
Eugen King made the plaque for us. Thanks again Eugene. The plaque is awesome and you Rock!
