Did the PRT have eccentric bushing in the wheels that run on the XY rails. I purchased a old PRT and it doesn't have them.
Thanks

No. Concentric on XY. Eccentric on Z.

Eccentric, concentric is a cone.

no problem, I have the Z operational with a new rack and gear and motor, a new gearhead built with motor for the x shopbots Y. I will get the steel for the table next week.

Concentric objects share the same center, axis or origin. Circles, tubes, cylindrical shafts, disks, and spheres may be concentric to one another. RE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concentric)

your right, I was thinking of like a concentric bushing were on side is smaller than the other verses a bushing were one side is offset like a steam bushing.
thanks

concentric = on center
eccentric = off center, or some of the forum members here! :D
