constant screen blanking?

I have not downloaded or installed any new pgms in a long time however just yesterday windows did auto update and now my screen goes blank every few seconds and i have to constantly shake my mouse . I can't find my screensaver settings in windows 7 ?????

Anyone know whats going on or how to fix it?:confused::confused::confused:

Go to control panel you can get there by right clicking on your desktop and choose personalize at the top is control panel home that should take you to a screen that has system and security click on that and you will see power options you can change the time to go to sleep just say never
