I am trying to cut a .25" diameter channel into a block of wood that curves (in a .25" radius) as it reaches the side of the block, and quickly tapers out of the piece (see attached photo). Is there a way of cutting that curve, which exists in the zx (or zy) plane, with a toolpath generated from a 2d model? Some have suggested drawing the curve in the xy plane, flipping it into the zx (or zy) plane, and then using an engraving toolpath. Can anyone elaborate?
