I received a call from a local sign guy that does mostly vinyl stuff. He asked me to cut this in 3d and wants it to be 4x8 and cut from 1.5 thick foam. I have no problem cutting it (Thanks Brady) but I haven't the skill set to do the modeling. Looks like a pain in the you know what. Is this doable for anyone out there?

Kurt,
I think if you break this model down several of these parts are already made and you could buy them.

Yep Jack, Same thing went through my mind but the customer wasn't very receptive. He's stopping by the shop today so we'll see.

If I where to do it, it would take about 6-7 hours to come up with a model for cutting. Even at $35 per hr that would be more than Jack suggested. The customer seems not to want to pay anything for the model. Most don't. they think it should be free. It isn't. I don't normally break down my estimates like that, I just include it in the price. If the customer doesn't want to pay, lose the customer.
