Now that's cool. It'd look great with a big Kenyan head statue on it.
I'm pretty sure my wife would throw it all out in the back yard, but I'd like it. :)

Well Scott, there's just no explanation for your wife's tastes...after all, look she married you:eek: lol
See, here's how you do it...take the patterns supplied by the guy and convert it to a dxf, cut it, build it, paint it, then set it in the living room. Then you have to make up this long winded explanation about how you saw this and thought she would just love this, and how much work you put into it, working hour after hour, with her in mind...and she will tell you she loves it!
It's the maternal instinct in them, this is why we love them so much. Don't you remember as a kid you would bring home the ugliest picture from art class but "Mom" doted over it and told you how pretty it was? This will be no different!:D

Scott, If she liked the cherry desk then follow Robert Heinlein's Quote of Lazarus Long "But her a desk and then--------------Stay away from it" Make a Scott room full of stuff you like. Jack, more mission myself, with" the workman shall expose himself by his craft" but used angles like that in my house. lke the plans.

She'll play along for sure, Jack. But after awhile it'll be moved just a little closer to the basement. Then a little closer. Then a little closer. Eventually it'll be in a prominent place in the basement. About a year later I'll notice it under a pile of "stuff". :)
Her patience and tactful womanry are just two more reasons I love her so much!!! :D
