Rather sadly I discovered the advantages of the Incra positional system very late in life. However with the advent of the Handibot (I will be getting one as soon as Shopbot make an OS version!) it seems to me at least to be a natural progression to marry together these two technologies. This would eliminate the only drawback of the Incra for us old timers - remembering where you are up to!

Imagine not having to mess with all those little templates and being able to see your dovetail on a tablet screen. Similarly cutting lists could be automated!

That's a great application, Bob. Those contraptions (if you get all the bells & whistles) sure can get complicated!

I keep gathering up more and more Incra pieces, they're nice stuff. The things that get the most use in my shop are their marking rules. Matched up with a .5mm pencil, I can actually make a mark that isn't 1/8" wide and crooked. :)
I use the box joint jig a lot and got the Incra Hingemaster to go with it, but I still haven't used the hingemaster. I need a table inset so I can hang my router in my table saw, and then I'll be hell on wheels.
