Boeshield T-9 to protect PRT rails?

Bringing my old PRT ShopBot back to life after several years of innactivity.

Per the instruction in the "ShopBot PRT Mainenenance Schedule", just cleaned off the X and Y rails with a Scotchbrite pad and WD-40. Found the rails to be in extremely good condition. Very light rust. No pits. No dings.

Now that the rails are clean, it seems to me like it would be a good idea to protect them with Boeshield T-9.

Any thoughts pro or con?

That's what I use. Works well.

Yes, forget the WD40. I have been using T-9 for years. Great stuff.
