I have a good one for you, back last year in November I was asked to design a sign for the local Government. I did, they took my design to another company and paid them to do it.. Well today in the local paper, the sign company that was given the job is now being charged with theft of $16,258.00. I HAD BID $15,596.00 THE COMPANY THAT GOT THE JOB DID NOT HAVE A CNC TURNS OUT THEY WAS GOING TO ORDERED ONE MADE SOME PLACE OUTSIDE OF KY AND THE SIGN WAS GOING TO COST THEM 12,000.00 AND SOME ODD DOLLARS PLUS SHIPPING, WHICH PUT THE SIGN WELL OVER THEIR BID TO THE COUNTY. I HAD LEFT A LOT OF MEAT ON THE TABLE, I WANTED THIS SIGN SO THAT I COULD ESTABLISH MY SIGN MAKING. THIS SIGN HAD A LOT OF WELDING,(LED'S SIGN PANEL, THE COMPUTER TO CONTROL THE LED SIGN, A COAL CAR (LIKE USED IN THE TURN OF THE CENTURY) AND 8' X 8' HDU CARVED COUNTY MAP.

Can't my lawyer wants them to have it made and installed.

The hide of the local government agency in the first place to take your design to someone else......this something you'd expect from an individual not a statuatory body.......they got what they deserved!
