SO I get this really cool email from Wood Magazine! What's the pix on the email, well it's a HANDIBOT! The article is about all of the great innovation shown at this years AWFS show from Las Vegas. Seems one of the major winners was the Handibot. Congratulations to ShopBot and the great team putting together the Handibot. Russ

Most of you know i'm not a big fan of Shopbot's control software however the machine itself makes up for that ten fold. Great products all around. I'm really excited for the HandiBot. I need to get a hold of one myself to learn it's capabilities and functions in order to develop cut files and maybe even apps specifically for the platform.

Imagine your bot with no table size limits! Also imagine your bot where you can pick it up, put it in your car, drive to the site, and 'attach it' to an object to do its job! I have a project in mind where we have many park benchs around our area that need to have some city or park identifing marks on them. The fun part of the HandiBot will be the jigs to do such projects., The next fun part will be designing the jigs so that a person with a HandiBot can create those jigs. Lastly will be the apps to do all of the above! Can't wait! :D Russ
