making anything out of wood would be my last priority, Aluminum, polycarbonate, acrylic are my needs

Lee we do acrylic trophies with zero problems on the Buddy. What are you trying to do? Lots on the forum doing aluminium. TJ has just posted 40 minutes on uTube on maching plastics.

Wouldnt have a clue how to do Utube Lee! Do do workshops and seminars though. Trophy below done for the biggest music festival in Australia. 25mm perspex. Bus in base as a pc board done on the bot and a battery box with two AA's and only uses 6 LED's. very, very simple set up and NEVER had a warranty claim. Cant do anything about the tilted pic on the iPad!
