Then on Saturday-

Camp ShopBot is coming to North Carolina on Oct. 26th.
We’ll be meeting at Larry High's shop for this Camp. Larry is a long time ShopBotter who recently traded up to his third machine.
His shop is located at:
190 Oakley Farm Rd,
Chapel Hill, NC.

TJ Christiansen, Randy Johnson and Ryan Patterson will be there to go over some of the latest hardware and software developments at ShopBot. We'll also have one of the new Handibot (Handibot.com) prototypes so people can see what it is, and how it works.
There will be sessions/demos on various techniques for working with a variety of materials, and for different purposes.
Remember to bring something you have made on your machine for the “Show and Tell” sessions.

Let us know if you have any particular topics that you’d like us to cover at this camp. We look forward to covering a variety of software and hardware tips and techniques to help you use your machine more efficiently; however Camps are not the same as “training”. See Camps vs. Training at: www.talkshopbot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15563 (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15563)

Saturday ShopBot Camp hours will be :

I'm looking forward to this, it'll be the first camp I've been able to attend.

If you're taking suggestions, I'd love any sort of demo on small part inlay like inlay for instruments. Also I wish I hadn't missed TJ's demo on setting a temporary zero.

Thanks.

Just a few weeks to go before this Camp, so if you haven't notified us yet that you are planning to attend, please do so soon. And if you ARE going to come to the Camp, please try to bring something you have made with your machine for the "Show and Tell" session. Thanks.
