I want to show that you can down load 3d files and convert them to 2d and cut them out and re-assemble 3d

In these example I am using the cnc laser but router laser ther is no difference except maybe the hold down ,and a need for tabs as these pieces are small .
But it shows what can be done with 3D files .I downloaded the file from the net,took it apart and saved it as a *.dxf then into aspire and produce the dxf file for cutting.The laser has the advantage of no hold downs.
I tried to upload the spiral net file but the site has a limit in kb
