I saw a ad on craigslist for 2 pcs of 1" thick 4'x12' PVC and the guy wanted $150.00/sheet and wondered if that was a good price? I don't know if i would ever use it but you never know...especially if it's a good deal:confused:

It depends on the brand & density. Not all are the same. They are probably worth $150...Do you have this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsive_hoarding)?

Jack as Brady said it depends on brand and density. We do a lot of work with Versatex and Azek in fact I just purchased 8 sheets of 1" 4' x 10' Versatex. We purchase as a wholesaler and my cost for the 1" 4' x 10' was $181.60 per sheet.

Brady,
While i don't think i am at the "Hoarding" stage yet, i will freely admit to being a "packrat". When i look at many things i can see the value in them. I don't buy stuff just to collect it...unless i think i can use it for a specific purpose and buying it will save me a substantial amount.
I do admit that on occassion i have bought things with the intention of using them and have yet to use them.
So i suppose that if i was to admit to this "character flaw" I don't think it's necessarily a bad one.:rolleyes:
I won't be attending any meetings soon where i get up and say...."Hello, my name is Jack, and i'm a hoarder....":D

Well that's good. I wasn't sure if we'd be seeing you on the show or not! I could be wrong, but I'd bet that you know where all your pets are... :D

are you talking about the live ones or the dead ones?
I think i prefer the term "collector" instead of "hoarder":D
The problem is i'm a collector of wood, tools, and many other things:rolleyes:

Jack you need to sticker your stacks of wood. I get free stickers from my lumber supplier, I get the broke ones and saw then to the length of my lumber rack. keeps them from warping.

Hi Eugene,
The wood you see most of it is air dried for over 10-12 years now, and the other stuff is kiln dried. Nothing is just cut and stacked wet. And although you can't tell by looking at the picture i took great pains to stack each board in each layer so that they are equal thickness and level across each one
so as to keep from warping or bending by random thicknesses next to each other. Of course what you don't see is the two other stacks that just about match what you see.
