I have radiant heat in my workshop from solar panels. Does anyone have experience with GoldLine controls. mine is a gl-30 with 2 thermal sensors... one for the cold part of storage tank and one for hot part of collector... the system is holding preasure, but not running auto-matically

Hi Jeff,
Although i can't answer your specific question i'd like to show you this picture of a solar heater i use for solar hot air in my shop. I have gotten temps of close to 200 degrees from this on a sunny day in the winter. It might be something to help in your shop:D

I'd like to get a little more detail about the system you have now, it sounds interesting:confused:

Mine is a 4x8 panel on roof basically a copper radiator with glass top. Was put in in mid 1976. the State solar water heater which runs house hot water and shop radiant heat only lasted 37 years. when I bought the new one we all had a good laugh. This is the controller I may have to buy. http://www.sunsourceproducts.com/catalog/productdetail.asp?cat=CD&part=0019 these controllers have been industry standard since 1970 or so and are very reliable. I not sure the old one bad yet... could be the 14.99 sensor..... haha
