vw bunk bed

Has any one ever built one of these? I think it will be a fun project for my son, but I was hoping someone has done this before and can offer some advice.

I had built a "Tow-Mater" bed and a fire engine bed and a "castle bed" before but not a volkswagon. What questions do you have?

thanks for all your help. That orange bus is awesome. I drew one out yesterday with v-carve and hope to cut it out this week. I plan on using 3/4" mdf and plywood with minimal framing. I will post pics when it is complete and make the files available to anyone.
