So far zero issues with 3.8.6 or 3.8.8
I'll take the chance!

The only issue I have (if you can call it that) is that when switching from metric to imperial I have to manually go and input the zero plate thickness, something I didn't seem to have to do with the 3.6.X version. Otherwise nothing unusual.

I'm not condoning or condemning...Just passing along the info. If you have a probe and need to convert to an importable format, then this maintenance release is for you. Same goes for HandiBot.

Are you running it yet Brady?

Yes, but not on my 'money maker'. I settled in on v3.5.18 and left it there. Older PC running XP Pro & the tool has run non-stop for over 170 hrs (longer than I could stay awake); so if it ain't broke, I'm not fixing it. I bought a newer control card to exploit the Indexer spinning capability, but have not used it in a production capacity yet.

I don't have a lot of extra inputs or accessories that would require the newer software, like spindle speed control etc. It's all 'manual' as I feel the machine should be - and has been since the DOS days (v2.39) :) So, my situation is a little different than most.

However, when I setup a new machine, it gets the latest control software & customers are trained on that version, unless we run into problems because their computer is not up to snuff etc. In those cases, I go back to v3.6.46, which works well on some older computers or cheap new computers.
