One of our wholesale accounts (museum) Had asked us to be part of a one day show, normally I would not have done this kind of show. (it was not Juried, and allowed imports. However do the the customer being one of my top buyers I really could not nor should I have said no. WE set up last night and the show started at 9 am and lasted to 4 pm. The weather was bad it had rained last night and snowed. plus the roads were covered with ice this morning. Some section was without power. I really got a surprise from this show. We did over $700.00 for a 6 hour show. I was told by most vendor there that this year the crowd was about half of what it normally was. I will be doing this show next year if I am invited, and I will be rethinking my attitude towards one day shows. We sold out of the Fish game, the rubber band guns, coffee scoops, drain spoons and the stirring spoons, Part of the reason we sold out I underestimated how many of each product to bring. ( I had not planned on having this big of a crowd.)
