I will be watching this. Not sure what I would use it for but that was true for the shopbot when I started. They have kikstart funding in place.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Sean Martin (Donek Tools) made one of these. Not sure if it runs on SB3 or what - but pretty sure he made one himself.

These are neat no doubt - but I would only be interested if it bent 2 to 4" stainless tubing - vroom vroom :D

This is what I was thinking but you don't see any examples of intricate work on their Kickstarter profile or website. I wonder if there is a minimum gauge requirement.

I'm definitely going to find out. I don't know how I missed this on Kickstarter, I would have definitely funded it. Thank you Dan for sharing it!

My application is considerably different and executed as a slip roll. There is a lot of spring back in the hardened material we bend, so the mathematics are quite different. The tightest radius we bend is about 1.5in in the ski/snowboard edge. There are plans to release a commercial version, but I'm currently overwhelmed with other work. I expect there will be a wire bending version at some point in time, but for now, we'll stick to ski/snowboard applications.

There is a machine that bends sheet metal into channel letters in a similar fashion and they sell for really big money. $100K+
