2008 PRS standard running 3.8.10 move speeds.

What are my safe communication speeds on a PRS standard meaning how fast can I cut before running into com problems with the new control software?

I seem to remember guys saying they can run faster using the new control software. I have never cut faster than 3 IPS because I remember being told I needed the alpha to cut faster is that still the case?
