I just tried to update my Shopbot software to version 3.6.38 and can't get it to work now. Is there any one that can call me talk me through this?

Just curious, why that version when you could go with the final in that series of 3.6.46?

After installing it, did you update the control box firmware with UI (utilities/install firmware). If not, do so by following the prompts.

Start with that and get back to us.

What version were you running before you upgraded

I figured out my original problem with the limit switches. The plugs keep coming off of the control board. I will have to find a way to secure them.

Is it worth upgrading to 3.8.12? Are there more features?

Before upgrading I was running 3.6.38. I tried to install the latest version 3.8.12 but at the end of the install it stops running with an error message and won't complete the install.

Dale, I had a problem like that at one time and called ShopBot and they talked me thru it. I know you think you are bothering them, but I think they would rather have a happy owner than un-happy....joe
