I'll pipe in so you can hear it straight from the horses mouth...

Our drag knife bits are designed to cut sand blast mask as well as regular sign vinyl. In fact, the pressure can be adjusted high enough to cut cardboard and thin plastics.

If you plan to cut anything other than sign vinyl (such as sand blast mask) you'll need to order an additional 60 degree blade. (the bits ship with a 45 degree blade included.

ShopBot may carry our replacement blades in the future. For now, replacement blades (both 45 and 60 degree) can be ordered directly through us.
