hello, we have a shopbot that we use for cabinetry/millwork. Have made a few signs but nothing serious. We have been asked to make a sign as a one time favor for a good friend - needing to make two 3' x 4' signs with their company logo. Product needs to be white with multiple colors on logo so we are thinking color core is not our best option - is there a 1/2" thick white product that has a mask that I could cut and then paint with mask helping me keep colors distinct. Thanks for any advice - we are from Virginia so if you have a supplier suggestion that would be awesome as well. Deb Twark

You can get HDU sign foam from Harborsales.net. They most likely will deliver to you for free. They deliver to me and I am about 45 miles south of Roanoke.

Tom…
It sounds like you’d really like a mask system. Using a self-applied mask you can cut each color, paint and re-mask. It works very well if the mask cuts clean, often not the case in real detailed work.

I have used Azek for commercial signs. Azek can be purchased through Home Depot. The material masks very well and holds paint. The paint can be delicate when hanging but will last a lifetime...
Go to the pro desk and special order. Check it when it comes in... I have had a couple of piece gouged up.
I made a V sign with 2 4x4 sides for a church
see attached
HDU is also an excellent product!
