HSD Spindle Collets - purchase from where?

Didn't see it in the list. Where are you buying your collets from for the HSD 2.2 Hp spindle? Directly from ShopBot or from another supplier?

does it use the er-25 collet? it should be written on it. I think it does like the 4hp model.
You can find them locally as I have from one of the industrial suppliers and on the net an ebay. shopbot sells them too of course. there is low to high quality. seems around the 25.00 each range you get a decent product.
myself I get them for the exact bit size. msc will sell them with a bit of range but the bits want to fall out till you get them fairly tight and it is a pain.

Yes, they are ER25 collets. Called Shopbot and they clued me in. Thanks for responding. As far as quality, yeah there is a difference. Low quality has a price that seems appealing and high quality seems to run as high as $40 each. $25 for a good quality sounds good if I can find that locally. Shipping kills a good deal. I have to do some local researh. Thanks Again, Steve!
