We went over $3,500 In wholesale orders during the show, plus we have over 5 customers that said that they would be calling to place a order after they went through the price sheet. Total for the 3 day show is over $5,800.00 can not see how much we took in on credit card. card system down at this time.
More than likely it will kick our sales up over $6,000.00 now this price is for wholesale customers and the retail we did... that will figure out to be around 2,000.00 per day.
I got to meet another shop botter at the show today, he drove down from Louisville Ky (Eric ) I think he has seen the advantages of doing juried shows. I ended up picking up a new customer right in his back door of the community he lives in. There are customers everywhere.
Hopefully he will chime in..
over all the show was great, Today was slower than it was yesterday, but still busy.. Had a great time doing the show.
looking forward to doing the show In Indianapolis at the end of this month

Drove to Lexington to attend KY Crafted The Market and to meet Eugene. We didn't get there until after 1:00pm on Sunday and lots of people were still coming in. I appreciated Eugene taking time to talk ShopBot with me in between all of his customers. Had a great time! Thanks again Eugene.

I may not be the king of sales, but I do hustle the shows, I do only juried shows, They have a different clientele, The people that come to these type of shows come to buy. I work the crowd, I have high end product and I have low end product. I have product that will get a child into my booth. If I can get the child's attention He or She will bring their parents into the booth, I have my rubber band guns, tops and doll house to draw children, once I have the child in my booth the parents or grandparents will come into the booth and more than likely buy something even if it is just for the child.
at this show I had friends that had for sale the same type of product that I make there were at least 10 wood workers at this show. (that is normal) Like I told Eric do not worry about your competition do top quality work, you will get your share of the sales. Shortly after Eric left My booth I had a customer come in asking if I could make something Which I could, That customer ended up being a new customer for me and was in the same town as Eric I told him not to worry that there were more just like him there. I also encouraged Eric to get juried into the same show. Unlike most I do not worry about competition, there is more than enough work to go around. Several of the other people that was set up at that show. I made product for them to sale there. I have people that copy me all the time, don't worry about competition. Encourage it, by being friendly, you keep them from under pricing and they keep it on a level playing field.
Almost everything in my booth was on the First Cd...
I practice what I preach... Ask Eric...
by the way I have had four other potential customers call today wanting to know if I can make other things... as of two oclock today have picked up 12 new customers not counting my old customers that will be calling in orders and the ones I will be sending price sheets too.

Here is a good one on me.. I had prototyped a series of products, however I had not taken it beyond showing it to Tina (she loved it) I had planned on starting production run this summer.
One of our regular customers came into the booth to say Hi. I was out and about on the floor talking to other venders to see if I could make anything for them. Our customer asked Tina what I had new that I had not showed yet. Well Tina told her about the product, That customer ordered 70 of each of the series. I don't even have the mechanical parts for them yet, I have not even researched where to buy them wholesale at yet. I had to go ask a friend where he got certain parts from in order to be able to order the part.
Tina has had the biggest Laugh out of that.. She sold more product than I did that day.
