This is the start of a bunch of display cabinets that I am doing. Information will be inset on the angled part with more in 24" deep pullouts just underneath.

Framed Glass cabinets will go above with lighting

The customer has a building I was going to put them in as they were built I just went there yesterday with a load and somehow it was never plowed all winter, they are now scrambling for alternative storage or I will run out of space, Murphy's law seems to bite me a lot. They left for California in Dec.

Corner feet and hardware will be installed on installation

The pictures are not that great lighting is bad, the wood is basswood

Scott it is Minwax honey with a fair amount of linseed oil added otherwise it soaks in way to fast and I really did not want to condition every piece there are about ten more cabinets to do.

The topcoat is Campbell pre cat satin

Basswood can mimic a lot of woods, they chose it for the neutrality it would give the cabinets so what is displayed will be the focal point.

Before the job we spent quite a bit of time going over stain and different wood samples I made, the woman I am working with is picky but she knows what she wants.

Thanks Brian, I just started adding poly to my oils(trickier than alkyds and not sure I like it yet). Beautiful job! Can't wait to see the glass displays. She should be very happy:)
