Please join me for ShopBot Tools online training this Wednesday April 9th at 1:00pm EST to learn all about Pocket and Profile Toolpathing.

These two toolpaths are used in most projects that users are working with. Sometimes a pocket toolpath may be more useful than a profile toolpath inside the line. Tips and tricks like this will be discussed and demonstrated for this online training. Other topics like ramps, start points, order of cut will all be explained and discussed.

The first hour will be the training and the following hour will be Q @ A for all users to participate in. I hope you can join us. This session will be recorded for users who cannot make the time slot.

Thanks, TJ

TJ, Request that you hold this 2 months ago, as it would have saved me days of hand sanding:) I'll be there.

Unfortunately half way through today's training my computer spit up the blue screen of death. We are currently reviving her and hoping to be back to full operations soon.

I will rerecord this training and have it posted on Friday the 11th.

Sorry about the inconvenience. Thanks, TJ

No big deal TJ, Although I was looking forward to having " my socks blown off". Probably a good thing your mic got shut off as the 27 of us stuck in limbo-land might have been exposed to some inventive use of the Queen's English :)

Thanks TJ. I watched the video and picked up some points and recalled some forgotten points.

Is it possible to come up with a pointer function? There were some times when you referred to images on a screen, and by the time I found the area you were talking about as I scanned the page, you had moved on. If you could have a pointer tool, or do something to highlight the section of the screen that you were referring to, it would be helpful. Especially for matters where someone is totally new the subject material.

Thanks again though, as these are very useful and appreciated videos! Chuck

Chuck,
That is a great suggestion. I have seen presentations where the presenter has a pointer and is able to zoom into a particular area of the screen. Let me look into this and see what I can find! Thanks!! TJ

I have used a product called Click Tricks that has several utilities that will help with hi-lighting and annotating presentations. I think there is a free trial available. http://www.southpac.com/Home/products/clicktricks
