Looking for a source(s) to obtain a mylar cutter, the material I'm working with follows: 7.5 mil,10 mil, and 14 mil.. Has an individual had success with the Donek cutter reviewed their website today.

I have purchased one and it sits here on my desk without any use or experience. BUT, from my research the Donek appears to be the most versatile AND it uses easily to acquire and inexpensive blades. Honestly, I'm looking forward to using it and I think it will be a great place to start. I've reviewed most of the others on the market and I'm not one to get caught in the having to use a specific proprietary blade which could be a nightmare to deal with. Just my two cents...

The one SURPRISE I had was that you will NOT get 90˚ corners without some extra work. I'm not sure how much extra work it is going to be but that was a surprise I wasn't aware of. The instructions show you the various ways to achieve a true 90 corner but it isn't a plug and play solution unlike a true vinyl cutter would be.
