I can!:D I think you will be pleased with the service you will get even if you are a second hand owner there is no charge for technical support and this forum will help you in your work with your bot:D

Looks like you have it in a "dinning room" location almost.
You would need to set up a very good dust collection system if it is inside a residence. Maybe it should be located nearer the windows.
If you are not careful, Bot-dust can be very bad news, especially 24-7 in a house.
Haven't finished my hobby/shop garage yet.
I have moved some walls around and sealed off living area from work area.
going to hard plumb vacuum system soon

It must be nice to be "selfish":) and be able to buy toys that YOU want to play with....good for you!
Is that a 72 Chevelle (or Nova) in the background? jealous:rolleyes:

Rob, Highly recommend your boss buy more light bulbs for his ceiling fixture:) Recommend he has at least one 50w halogen spot to inspect cuts BEFORE he takes it off the machine. PITA to finish a nice piece of hardwood and take it into the sun to admire your work and THEN realize you should have run it twice or just a smidge deeper in THAT spot. It's very true with CNC "You can't go back" IF you've taken it off. Looks like you're going to have fun! What kind of stuff would you like to do?

i primarily purchased shopbot to finish my interior in car
got tired of waiting for the interior i paid for in 2012 (long story)
so now i plan on doing custom car interiors
hope to make molds for vacuum forming plastic

When in high school and after I had all these different cars...57 chevy convertible, 55 chevy nomad wagon, 2 or 3 55 chevy 2doors, and 66 chevelle, 66 Nova, 50 buick and my first car was a 63 rambler station wagon 3 speed on the column. Ahhhh.....fond memories....
I have made several molds for things on the bot (solar hot water heater collectors) out of mdf and wood. I didn't see his process but i recall that he used hdpe and i made a top and bottom for each part and that he heated up the plastic and then squeezed it in a press between these two mold parts.
This was 1/4 thick plastic.
