New Fonts

I have a question about adding some more fonts to my V-Carve program. Can I just download fonts and then copy them to the Fonts folder? I looked in the Fonts folder and they appear to have different extensions. Will V-Carve recognize True Type fonts? I hate to copy stuff into the fonts folder if it isn't going to work.

The Fonts folder in VCarve is for the single line fonts and they can't be added to.

For normal TrueType/OpenType fonts you just install them in Windows the normal way and restart VCarve and they'll be there ready to use.

A note of caution here. “cheap” and free fonts often contain open vectors. They are no longer inexpensive if you spend hours repairing them to be usable!
