I made a file, created the tool path files, saved the toolpath files, BUT didnt save the aspire file. So Now I cant edit the file or know the size & thickness of the wood. My question is , can I find the size of the job and the thickness of the wood in the .SBP files?
thanks

Depending on the Post you used, you might. Open the file in an editor (SBEdit) and read the header info. It might have origin, material size, and thickness.

Perry...
By quickly scanning the code, you should get an idea of the max depth by watching the last parameter of the M3 commands. then do an air cut without the bit spinning and trace its movement with a marker for rough dimensions.
Been there done that...

File Conversion will get your .sbp back to .dxf and will also show the jog moves. It might help you remember the material size and origin. Just a thought.
