As the school year has ended and the shopbot will be not be used for the next couple of months. Any recommendations or tips on on anything to do before we close the door.

The machine is now a year old and want to make sure it stays in great shape.

clean and grease and unplug the unit and the controller computer from power.

Bring home for "storage and weekly maintenance" and have fun with it over the summer :)

Our schools around here often have different camps during the summer, teachers get paid extra to teach them. Maybe thats something you could do, run a Woodworking / CNC camp. Good excuse to keep the ShopBot up and running all summer.
