I wanted to make a plaque for my sons teacher in the shape of an apple. I would like it to be 3D. My only software is cut 3D and Vcarve pro. Is it possible to get the curve of the apple using this software? Thanks

no...cut 3d can machine the 3d file but you need to have a model made or buy one

“Thanks Steve for showing us this site!!”

You’re welcome… Here’s where I have found many interesting models. Yeggi is a 3D image search engine.

My all-time favorite site is briar press… it’s a museum of the letter press and related print stuff. Their collection of 2D vectors is very fun to browse and make fantastic V-carvings! The site is free to join and most vectors are free.
