I just got a 37-82 1" 60* (same that came with my shopbot) and a 37-87 1 1/2" 90* for under 30 bucks each. The cheapest I've been able to find those Onsrud bits was around 70 bucks, which is why I hadn't ordered them till now. :)
The website is amtcnc.com. Searching for bits is brutal the way their catalog works, but if you know specifically what you're looking for, it's easy.
They have a host of brands including Whiteside. I avoided the Whiteside bits because I've recently bought a bunch and was afraid I'd see them at half price and throw up. ;)
I just decided to give this outfit a try to see if I'd get what I ordered. I got the bits in less than a week, and they are the real deal.
You guys may want to take a look, the prices on everything I looked at were really excellent. For good stuff, too!
I hit a screw with my 37-82, which is what prompted me to buy these bits. Prior to that, it's been probably my most used bit and was still like brand new. I know there's a lot of talk about good lettering bits for v-carving and had found some nice 1/4" shanks I was going to get. They were 5 bucks less than these carbide edged sweeties.
I sure hope you guys can make use of the place!!!
