I needed UL Trupan and have worked out a way to get it. I'm willing to sell through if anyone around here needs any. You'd have to be willing to come pick up. I'm near McDonough, GA.

I'll be making a pickup this Thursday and unless someone else speaks up my original quantity won't leave me but a couple of extra sheets.

The price should be $35/sheet. I don't know if that's good or bad since I've never been able to purchase it before. I say "should" because it's not paid for and on my truck yet.

Contact me ASAP if you want to purchase in this load or just let me know you're interested in future sheets. I'm not expecting cabinet shop quantities, I'm talking about guys like me that want 4, 5 or 6 sheets... maybe 10 and can't get them.

You can email robert at bentfork dot com or call me at 770 262 0800 if you think you want something Thursday.

Robert,
Who are you getting the UL Trupan from? Ed Conley host of the Atlanta camp setup a deal with Peach State Lumber last year and the purchase was $27 a sheet if I remember correctly. The last time I talked to Bert of Peach State, he couldn't get it because DixiePly had an exclusive deal as the Atlanta distributor. I called Builder's FirstSource here in Gainesville back in January, they said that DixiePly doesn't have it and doesn't carry it.

DixiePly is the source. I get mixed messages from distributors and suppliers including DixiePly. In the first call to DP they stated they did not have or carry Trupan... yet a during a follow up call they do. I even had them verify it was Trupan and not some other brand. Again, it's not on my truck yet.

I was quoted $27/sheet for regular Trupan. I'm probably being charged a premium, but for now that's fine... I can get it.

I got Carl Smith & Sons (Joey) in Senoia to get me some Trupan. It cost me 31.00 a sheet but wasn't too far for me to drive to. Joey has to order it which takes about 3 days to get in. Better than going up to Atlanta.

Also, I have been getting different answers from various suppliers on Trupan depending on who you talk to, what time of day it is, and even the same person giving different answers. Very frustrating.

I did get the Trupan UL and it is branded so I know it's real. All sheets are spoken for on this round. It ended up being $32/sheet this time.

Unless I find another source for 1/2" ACX I expect to make a purchase once a month and tack a few sheets of Trupan to the order as needed.
