There is a pretty good group of Marines down in Houston that run a PTSD program. They have an event coming up in Sept and Sarah---------, will be the key note speaker. I will let you guess on the last name. I need to come up with an impressive plaque that relates to all warriors, not just the marines to donate for their auction. I am drawing a blank so if anyone has an ideas. I am limited to an area up to 17 inches round or square. Or somewhere close to that. Any ideas would be appreciated.

What about something like this. Simple and inclusive.

The edge could be expanded and text could be added or it could be rounded or framed. But sometimes simple is best. my 2¢ anyway...

Rick, have you looked on the Vectric Forum? They do a lot of really nice military plaques and awards. And seems like a lot of them are for Marines...joe

Thank you for the compliment on the design. I did not intend to be rude and not acknowledge it.

I guess at this point what i would like were different ideas, in case anyone has any. I have never cut that flame border but have wanted to. Here is the link to the flame border. as you can see you can stretch it and it does not have adverse effects on it.

I do a lot and it certainly adds a lot of machine time but enhances the beautify of the plaque.

As much as i like the flame border i think i have decided on this one. But i am still nearly a month away from having to cut, so i am still open for suggestions.

Back to my think tank and that is yall. I am anal about things being balanced. I like this historical quote but somehow some of the words being upside down dont look right. Now is that me being anal or is this acceptable or not.

With some help with senior member on here this is what we have come up with. It always helps to have someone looking over you shoulder, thanks a lot Scott.

However, Seals are a group that is part of regular Navy not a branch unto themselves.
