Donek Dragknife

I reviewed Donek's video on Shopbot however, the problem I encounter is after highlighting the text going to gadget's selected drawknife I didn't change any of the parameters the error message I received read error in creating tool path. The text height is set at 1.25, material thickness .010, and the letters created are QX W/C. Any suggestions regarding the process I'm using?

When creating a toolpath with the drag knife gadget from text, it is necessary to convert the text to curves. Just select the text, right click on it and then click convert to curves.

Thanks for the information didn't think of the fact system recognizes lines and curves not letters per say. Thanks again.
