The 4th annual Michigan Camp ShopBot will be Saturday, September 27 at TechShop Detroit in Allen Park, MI. The day will include topic-based presentations, Q&As, and the infamous Show and Tell Session. The Handibot will also be demoed. Camps are free to attend and lunch is included.
This Camp has always boasted great attendance: 65+ people! And our new location this year, TechShop Detroit (http://techshop.ws/ts_detroit.html), has a lot of room to spread out, so bring your projects for the Show and Tell session! TechShop has offered us their loading dock area to unload and set up larger projects. Or if you do client commissions, bring photos to share. The Show and Tell session is a great way to learn from each other and show off your own projects. (Please email CampShopBot at Gmail if you plan on using the loading dock area.)
Saturday Schedule:
8:30-9am: Morning sign-ing/Meet & Greet
9am-noon: Morning presentation sessions
Noon- 1pm: Lunch on us
1pm-2pm: Show and Tell session
2pm- 4pm: Afternoon presentation sessions
The day usually wraps up between 4-4:30pm.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This helps us and our hosts with planning.
