My safe Z has been 1 "
today went to run a tool path and it is at .25 on my partworks screen
how do I change that back
got lucky bit cut into my hold down jig but didn't break it

Kevin, sorry if I'm misunderstanding. You would have to go back into Partworks and on the toolpath side, go into "material set-up" and change the safe Z settings to what you want, Re-calculate all toolpaths, and resave them in the same folder same names and then resave the whole .crv.
If SB3, then VC and change Safe-Z there.
I'd make sure first though that you had referenced Z from the same spot as you called out in the file though(Not that I'VE ever done that :) ).
Sorry if that wasn't what you were asking.

In my material set up I do not have the option to change safe z height just material thickness

I think there are Gremlins changing my settings !!!

Note there are 2 settings for z. One is the safe z and the other is the home z. You have to make sure that the safe z and the home z are good for what you want to do.

You may have opened a file with different values which will be the ones used the next time you start a new job.
