Dust boot surgery

As you can see i've tried to hold my dust boot together with spit, gum, duct tape and prayers and it has just bit the dust...pun intended.

Does anyone have any designs/files/suggestions on taking the plastic off of this and making something else using the metal part of this dust boot? I'd like to get supplies locally because i don't have time to send off for anything since i have to redo my table and a job before monday.

Get a Kent dust shoe...well worth the money

Only problem I had with the Kent was the brush was so big I didn't get enough suction. I made one up just like the Kent but made the brush diameter about 4".

As long as you don't over tighten when installing, I did and snapped it!

Have not messed my boot up that bad yet... but am working on it.

Can you buy a few standard brush vacuum attachments and rework them a bit to fit ???

FYI - SB sells all the parts to the original dust foot individually...so you can buy only the parts you need to repair it.
