I had put aside my 2 feins (model 9.77.25 6 yrs old) several years ago because i wasn't happy with my vacumn, it wasn't holding good enough.

I pulled them out and was going to try to hook them up again and one of them doesn't seem to work.
When i turn either of the two switches on, on the broken one nothing happens. I did plug the good fein into the outlet on the bad fein and the good one works, so the pass thru plug in gets juice.

It has had very little use probably less then 50 hours so its not wore out. I wondered if there is some type of fuse system inside? Or some fix that might get me working?

The problem is i have a 4 section system with 4 valves so just using one i don't think will work.

Jack mine quit working awhile ago and was 6-7 year old. I took off the black cover to get to the to switchs and there mounted to a circuit board so that when u plug one thing into it and turn that one on they both start and stop at the same time . You can order a new board or remove as I did . And only have the on and off switch , plug will be dead. Took about 15 min. Good luck and Happy Holidays Jeff :D

On mine the motor burned out. I replaced it with a Lighthouse brand motor. Has been working fine for about 3 years now. Not as quiet as a Fein motor but sucks real well. Use mine mainly for dust collection on hand power tools.

Lot cheaper then a new Fein vacuum.

The replacement actually pulls harder at the expense of a little CFM. Contact Ward @ Lighthouse & he'll hook you up with the right motor.
