Center in Hole Program?

I have been doing some reading... I would like to build a centering jig so I can place small projects anywhere on my table and set the corner of the material to 0,0 easily. I have read that there is a program in the SB parts file called "center in hole". Will I have to modify it at all to do what I want it to do??
