I was going to have someone draw this for me but I need to cut it today if possible so I can put a new top on my machine later today. I think I have it drawn right but last time the customer had it laid out on the wood so I was able to check it.
the wood is 96x12

and the measurements
First set: 9 3/4" run & 7 13/16" rise for two stringers
Second set: 10 1/8" run & 7 11/16" rise for two stringers

Steve I looked at the file and it appears to be correct except one detail. You will have to deduct the thickness of your treads you are using from the first step from the rise side. Otherwise The run will be too high.

I am pretty sure the customer did that. he checked after he dropped off the wood. I know they are 3"thick. I do these because he does not like how his guys cut the solid wood ones. but this is only the second time in 2 years. I found the easy way to draw these. just make rectangles the size of the rise and run and put them corner to corner and then remove two sides. measure the angle and draw the board. though I don't really need the board as I am only cutting the treads. last time he had it drawn out so I could check it out first.

Steve connecting the rise and run by boxes is the easiest way to draw the stringer. I have done just that myself. I looked at your drawing but it does not look like someone deducted for the tread thickness on the first "box". That would be the "box" starting out on the ground.

I not going cut that. just cut straight win on the first tread. then if it needs trimmed they have the mateial.
