We picked up 17 new customers. The total for the orders was $12,271.00 Not bad for 4 days of sales. Some of the orders do not ship till April but that is fine.. This show was strictly wholesale. Gives me time to make the product. We are now gearing up for our 2nd show (first weekend of March), the Kentucky Crafted Market. Our 3rd show is the Indiana Market which is the Last Weekend of March. Both of those shows are both wholesale and retail.

whats it cost to setup at these shows?

Looks like its good money to travel around and do something you love, its not work when you enjoy doing it.

This show was $2,300.00 for booth space. Now you have to remember this is not a retail show. So the price is just the first order. Most will re-order in 5 to 7 weeks. so this price keeps rolling over. I do a few shows that are both wholesale and retail and I do a few shows that are only retail, but I often pick up a wholesale account. I prefer wholesale customers, This way, I ship multiples of product rather than one and two's. We actually do not do retail other than at shows. We do not have a store front. We currently with the new customers now ship to 34 states, and we have not even scratched the surface on any state.

Best part, 98% of the products are already in stock. Just the 4 new items We introduced at this show are even low. Orders like this is why I keep 200 to 500 of everything in stock. I do not produce very many of a new item until I see that it is going to sale. All but a few Items are on the Home and Hearth Volume One. Other than the Four new items 99% of the orders were the products on Volume one. The four new items took off like wild fire so they will be added to Volume Two. I think three of the four new items I will have to keep about 300 to 400 of them in stock. The other will fall into the 200 range of stock. Had this been a Retail show,,, This price would have been way higher. This is one of the high end wholesale shows.

There will be another American Made show in July, this time it will be in Dallas Texas... Not sure if we will do this one but thinking on it.. Normally will let a shows orders settle out to see how the product is moving before doing another large wholesale show. Either way, will do Dallas next year anyway.
