Has anyone using a router tried these?

Might it also allow for eliminating re-zeroing Z by using bit collars to match bit lengths on a given job? Sure would be a nice combination.

I notice he mentions the nasty "occasional vibration" word so might that imply poor quality control by some manufacturers? Strangely, he doesn't mention any manufacturers names.

I've got a spindle so just posting it as a FYI.

I have been using these quick change collars since about 2001. I'd have it no other way. Never had an issue of vibration. Eliminator chuck is what is shown and what I use. Worth every dime. I bought a second but have yet had the need to take my original off. I have gone through a few of the internal adapters, but that's all. You do need to ensure that your bit is tight, especially on an up-cut spiral.
My endorsement. A+

I have one its a great idea but I found the cutter ran out and there was vibration. The run out will happen with any cutter the vibration comes with a large cutter because of the run out and the weight of the cutter. I know that the collet is a close fit but the cutter is being shoved to one side so the cutter will have to cut
oversize not much but .002 run out makes for a .004 oversize cut.
just so you know.
