Z axis Slow movment problem

Hi,
Im having some problems with the Z axis moving very slow. When I program a V-carve operation what normaly would take 30 sec now takes 2-3 mins. I have been running the same parts with the same feeds and speeds for weeks now and know this is not normal.

I checked the firmware, deletd and reinstalled the shopbot software, called customer support and had them check some numbers.

any ideas?

i tracked down the problem to my laptop. weird I have been using the same computer for months. I hooked up a new computer and problem is gone!

Did you issue a UR to reset to the default values for your machine? Those can stay resident and automatically be used again after uninstalling/reinstalling.

I did do that with no luck!

I ended up buying a brandnew laptop and that fixed the problem. $400 problem that was.
