Been running it for a couple of days now and it seems to have have fixed a couple of serious issues I have had since 3.8.14, one of them being some keypad faults/errors. If you are someone that has had some keypad movement issues where you may have seen a stutter and then and error/crash, give it a try. There was a change in how the keypad and jogging with a ctrl + arrow key happens and it would always trip me up because of what I've always been used to and had become just habit or muscle memory. I would always start jogging by holding ctrl + arrow and once it started jogging, I would let up on ctrl and continue jogging until letting up on the arrow key. Now (since 3.8.14), if you let up on ctrl and continue to hold the arrow key, it will downshift to move speed. It was during that downshift that it would stutter and then error and lockup the software. A couple of other issues that no one else would likely have come across seem to be fixed for me now too.
So, give it try if you have some keypad/keyboard issues. Note, it requires a firmware update with UI.
A month ago, someone mentioned keypad issue - solution was slow down the repeat rate for your keypad in windows control panel. Completely eliminated that crash issue on my system.
Anyone know if this version cleared up the re-start crash issue?

Reading through the list of fixed items it looks like 24 and 26 were the main bug fix ones. 30 seems fairly minor for non-handibot, non-ATC users.

24, 26, and 28 all still had the issues I was seeing when 14 hit. I don't think everything always gets listed and some things that were supposedly fixed in those persisted on my setup. 3D slow downs still to be tried out (got a bunch of that coming up). I've had some pretty obscure things that I've come across and it's not to likely that anyone else has seen them.

3.8??? I am still around 3.6 something. the reviews on 3.8 have scared me. Wood is expensive.

Not only wood, but bits too. I broke a lot of bits and ruined a lot of wood when 3.6 was getting the bugs worked out.
Don't care to repeat that unpleasant and costly experience.
3.6 works, so I ain't going to fix it. :)
