Picked up a Plasma Cutter...

So, I saw this:

And figured it would get my feet wet, didn't expect much. Can anyone explain whey I didn't get one of these sooner! Wow, cuts through 1/4 mild steel like a blowtorch through butter. WAY better than a oxy-fuel torch for cutting. Now, however, I'm using this torch thinking how a plasma cutter on a shopbot is looking better and better.

BTW, I'm working on making brackets for bat houses.

I have been thinking about getting one myself, I do a fair amount of tig and stick welding, and metalwork grinder and chopsaw are cumbersome.

Make sure to keep your air dry and clean or you will be going through tips very fast.

A nice bonus is that now you'll be able to cut stainless as well as mild steel.
